9-5 to Traveling Life
The digital nomad lifestyle came out of nowhere. I started traveling after serving a decade in the military. After I left the military I wanted to be free and able to make decisions for myself. Any person who has worked a 9 to 5 job knows exactly how that feels. I decided to buy a ticket to Bangkok Thailand and see if the traveling life was for me. This was intimidating and took some courage and motivation from close friends but sometimes you just have to jump from the plane.
Since that first trip, I’ve been met with tons of mental, emotions, and physical roadblocks. Pushing and moving forward regardless of the obstacle has been key. I’ve now stepped on 6 continents and traveled through 100+ countries. Each country has been amazing in its own way. Meeting people from across the globe has allowed for eye-opening experiences and adventures that are absolutely mind-blowing.
The people you meet and friendships you make along the way is what you cherish the most. Traveling can be the most humbling activity a person can do. It can allow you to appreciate all the opportunities you have pushed forward to have. The BiggersWorld brand & TiredOfWorking.com were developed for travel knowledge to be shared a spread across the globe. Travel knowledge should be readily available for all. I want to share my experiences and knowledge that I have accumulated throughout my travels with other like-minded individuals.
The traveling life can be yours if it is what you desire. Understanding how, why, when, where, and what the traveling life involves is step number one.
