What Sounds Do Penguins Make? South African Penguins Do Exist!

Checking out penguins in South Africa

Penguins are in South Africa but What Sounds do Penguins Make?

South African Penguins

South African penguins do exist. I know I couldn’t believe it either. They were simply adorable and if you are ever in cape town heading down to Cape Point then you will get the chance to check them out. Boulders Beach in False Bay offers something extra special and is just south of Cape Town ——Go see a colony of African Penguins 😀 & find out what sounds do penguins make. 🙄

I still can’t reenact the sound s they make ha-ha

Boulder Beach South Africa

Boulder beach was the primary location to see these awesome little penguins. Also, there has been some reconstruction done at Foxy beach where they have implemented boardwalks that can allow guests an up-close and personal experience with the African penguins. The current prices at Boulder beach are standard fee adult R152 and children R76. The prices are rather low for the up-close experience you get to have. As your walking on the boardwalks try and keep your eyes open because sometimes you can find one of the little penguins sleeping all by themselves.

The area is super touristy which can make it difficult to get great pictures. However, if you take your time and slowly mingle your way to the front you will get the pics you desire. The penguins were absolutely adorable and don’t worry they have barricades everywhere to try and ensure that people don’t disturb them.

Remember, if you go to see them be respectful of their habitat. You wouldn’t want someone to come into your house and put their feet up on your coffee table and leave your toilet seat up, would you? I didn’t think so. These African penguins were something I did not expect and it was an amazing experience so I encourage you to head to Boulder beach if you ever find yourself in Cape Town with an extra day with nothing to do. Also, if you go to Cape Point you can always stop along the way because it is on the direct path you will have to take to get to the Cape Point lighthouse.

Just follow the PENGUIN signs….
