Burning Man Festival via Burner Express
The annual Burning Man festival is an event held annually in the western United States at Black Rock City. A temporary city is erected in the middle of the desert in northwest Nevada. Black Rock City is approximately 100 miles northeast of Reno. This festival involves a thriving year-round culture generated by a global community of participants. There are a few ways of getting to Burning Man from Reno. One of the coolest ways is by taking the Burner Express Bus. Click on the link to find out more. It will allow you to get out to the festival and meet tons of amazing people along the way. That is a win-win if you ask me.
Global Event is the best way to describe Burning Man, it’s not a festival, rave, party, etc. It’s something, even more. The people that take part want everyone to feel welcome. Parties welcome everyone and never discriminate on race, gender, sex, or any other reason. Burning Man has been a wonderful experience each and every time I’ve participated. Each time has offered some interesting new experiences. People from all walks of life ascend on Black Rock City and it makes for a fantastic and enchanting time.

The festival’s mission is to produce the annual event known as Burning Man and to guide, nurture, and protect the more permanent community created by its culture. The story behind Burning Man started in 1986 in San Francisco. An artist named Larry Harvey made a 9-foot tall (2.7 m) wooden sculpture of a man and decided to burn it a nearby beach as a bonfire for Summer Solstice. Now the man is much larger and each year a new theme is born. The festival is continuously evolving which makes every year a new experience.
