As one can imagine this time period provides great weather to wear beach attire and get your tan. However, May is historically the hottest month of the year. Visiting the Philippines from July to October is not advised due to the rainy season which could lead to massive storms and typhoons. March to May is the best time to visit Philippines. The beaches will be wide open and filled with travelers and many festivals take place during this time.

4. Cebu is your scuba diving central. If you want to see fish that you can’t see anywhere else, then this is your spot.
5. Banaue is full of greenery and rice fields that fall upon each other like terraces. Banaue is great for cultural immersion as well. You can really feel the history here.

• Do not trust people too soon. This one is hard but at first, keep your guard up.
• Spend more money if it means you are safe. This goes for anywhere, but I saw this as an issue in the Philippines. 
• Be confident as you walk around, if you show confusion the hustlers can spot this out.
• Do not party too hard. This one is so hard because the party scene in the Philippines is phenomenal.
